A long term urban regeneration program for the sprawling waterfront area of Jamestown in Accra, annual host to the remarkable Chale Wote Street Art Festival.

Involving both traditional local authorities and central government, interventions are initially focused on a number of specific key sites. Most notable of these is the forbidding, derelict former slaving prison of James Fort, whose empty spaces and pivotal location allow for a range of significant possibilities to inject new economic life into this depressed area.

EOA is working on Jamestown strategies with a number of partners and stakeholders.
